In recent news, Kid Cudi has announced that he will be taking a break from making music and performing to focus on TV and film work.
Just last week, the rapper put out his 10th studio album, titled Insano (Nitro Mega), which had fans pretty excited.
However, he has now warned fans that they will have to wait for a long time for his next album since he has decided he will be pushing the date back of his upcoming record.
Consequently, the new album by the musician will drop in 2026, which will give him enough time to spend on his acting projects.
The star took to posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, to explain that his forthcoming album is already 80% done.
Even so, he will not be releasing it any time soon since there is a lot left to do and not enough time to do it.
He disclosed that he will take time off to film since that will be his first priority for the next year. Thus, the artist will be unable to focus on music.
The hip-hop musician has been into acting for the last couple of years and kickstarted his career in the field in 2009.
He has appeared in various films, such as Silent Night, Pearl, and its sequel, X. The star has also been featured on popular TV shows, such as Westworld.
As of now, there is speculation that Kid Cudi is working on another movie, also belonging to the X slasher franchise.
It is believed to be an adaptation of the novel by Brandon Taylor, titled Real Life, as well as a zombie horror movie called Hell Naw.
According to the musician, he wants to be an accomplished person in both music and acting. In his words, he believes that he has the talent to achieve that and does not want to limit himself to just music.
In the words of the star, he sees himself working beyond the acting and music industry as well. In fact, he has plans to broaden his horizons even more within and outside of the entertainment industry as a whole.
In other news, Lewis Capaldi has said that he wants to be as big a star as Ed Sheeran.
The 27-year-old has talked about having huge ambitions for his music career ever since he started out making songs.
According to the Scottish superstar, it has always been his dream to follow in the footsteps of the Shape Of You hitmaker and gain unprecedented success.
