SZA Decides To Take Music Leakers To Court

In recent news, SZA has said that she will not hesitate to take any music leakers to court.

The Kill Bill hitmaker has warned thieves that they will be facing the complete wrath of the law if they do not stop.

This comes shortly after she was left angered due to her songs being a part of a music leak.

Consequently, the musician said that she would not stop until she successfully took legal action against the people who had stolen her art.

The singer went on to add that leaking her music is the same as stealing. She further added that this is her job and her intellectual property, and she will take it seriously.

According to her, SZA will be putting in maximum energy to catch the people responsible and hold them accountable.

The President of Top Dawg Entertainment, Terrence Punch Henderson, took to sharing the post of his client as well.

He further captioned it to warn thieves that when music gets stolen, singers tend to cancel their entire projects or delay them for a year or two.

As of now, fans are eagerly waiting for the musician to put out an extended edition of her SOS album, which has been widely acclaimed.

LANA, the extended edition, was previously announced by the singer and has excited numerous fans since then.

However, the 34-year-old has not specified whether she will have to delay the project in lieu of the music leaks.

SZA had already once explained that the deluxe edition that she was now supposed to release had turned into a completely new project of its own.

Back when she performed at a free concert for fans in Brooklyn in September of 2023, the singer talked about how LANA would have seven to 10 songs and would be released in the fall.

Moreover, the chart-topping star spoke out about how shaken and overwhelmed she was after her nine Grammy nods.

As of now, the Nobody Gets Me hitmaker has taken the lead in terms of nominations at the upcoming ceremony of the much-anticipated awards on the 4th of February.

However, she has not made any posts or given any reaction ever since the news was announced.

A fan prompted the star to make a comment in public and the singer insisted that she was filled with anxiety after she got the news.

In her words, SZA said that she felt anxious when she first heard about her nine nominations and was trying to think of a way to express her gratitude.

On this note, the musician also wished that her grandmother was there to watch her achieve this feat.

The hitmaker has been nominated for various awards, which include Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Album Of The Year.

SZA put out her acclaimed SOS record back in December of 2022, which features one of her hit singles, Kill Bill.

This popularly acclaimed track is one of those that is among the nominees at the Grammy Awards in the Record Of The Year category.
