Goldie Hawn Lauds Kate Hudson For Debut Single

In recent news, Goldie Hawn has taken to shower praises at her daughter, Kate Hudson, shortly after she released her debut track, titled Talk About Love.

The Private Benjamin star went on social media to state how proud she is of the single released by the Almost Famous artist.

She praised her daughter in the comments of her Instagram post for being a skilled singer and stated that she has songwriting skills that are unlike any other.

Moreover, the mother of the musician took to promoting the single on her own stories on Instagram, asking people to listen to her ‘songbird’ sing and that it would blow their minds.

The 44-year-old singer penned her debut track alongside her fiancé Danny Fujikawa. Linda Perry, a famed songwriter, was also invited to be a part of the project.

Furthermore, it was later revealed that Perry came on board with Fujikawa and John Carlsson, the producer, to work independently.

Together, all three of them helped Kate find her unique sound, which she has defined as sexy and delicious to listen to. 

In the words of the 44-year-old, she knew she would only get one shot at her first single and decided to make it as special as possible.

Consequently, she added that she was hoping to make it into everything true about herself. For this reason, Kate revealed that she made it open and powerful. 

While talking about her process behind the song, the musician disclosed that when she created the tunes, she wanted the music to get people on their feet.

In her words, she had been aiming for rock, pop, as well as dance music, which turned out to be a lot to put into a single song. 

While this debut single is the first official track that Kate has released, she has been known to croon out a couple of songs in the past.

She was one of the singers in the movie Nine and Music and then took to singing a part on the well-known TV series Glee. 

The Glass Onion – A Knives Out Mystery artist first revealed that she was going to be recording an album back in 2022. 

While she has released an unscheduled single at the moment, her record is all set to be released later in the year. 

In other news, the Pet Shop Boys have dropped their most recent single, titled Loneliness. It will be a part of their soon-to-be-released album, Nonetheless. 

The West End Girls’ pair, which comprises Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant, have made their comeback with an orchestra.

This is mainly due to their upcoming album, which will be produced by James Ford himself. It has been revealed to be dropping on the 26th of April and is a follow-up to Hotspot, which dropped in 2020. 

The duo took to premiering the new track on BBC Radio 2, saying that it was written during the lockdown at the time of the pandemic.

The pair revealed that at the time, it wrote a lot of songs, all of which were designed in a way to include an orchestra.
