In recent news, Dua Lipa and Billie Eilish have been revealed to be performers for the upcoming Grammy Awards for the current year.
Olivia Rodrigo, the Levitating star, and the Happier Than Ever singer have been scheduled to be the first performers to be revealed for the 2024 ceremony.
The event has been scheduled to be held at the Crypto.com Arena on the 4th of February in the city of Los Angeles.
The first three musicians have also been nominated for various awards in a wide range of categories.
Billie alone has a total of six nominations, which include Song Of The Year, Record Of The Year, and Best Song Written For Visual Media.
The singer’s song, What Was I Made For? was featured in the Barbie movie and subsequently nominated for the Best Song Written For Visual Media category.
Similarly, Olivia has also been nominated for six awards, which include Best Pop Vocal Album for her most recent record, Guts and Best Pop Solo Performance for Vampire.
She will also be contesting against several big names in the Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Record Of The Year categories.
Where Dua is concerned, the star has received two nods for her hard work during the year. Consequently, she will be contesting for Best Song Written For Visual Media and Song Of The Year.
For the former category, Dance The Night received a nomination, which was another soundtrack featured in the Barbie movie.
Both What Was I Made For? and Dance The Night were shortlisted for the recently held Golden Globe Awards for Best Original Song.
The award was eventually given to Billie and her brother, Finneas, who co-wrote the song. However, the duo lost out to I’m Just Ken from the Barbie movie at the Critics Choice Awards.
The Grammy Awards for the current year will be hosted by Trevor Noah, who has been on the show for the last three years as well.
