In recent news, a representative of Sean Diddy Combs has stated that the singer will not be attending the Grammys, even though he has denied all allegations of sexual assault that were made against him.
The music mogul has made it clear that he will not be in attendance at the prestigious award ceremony to be held on the 4th of February.
This is even though he has been nominated for his first award in the last two decades.
Just last week, the singer was nominated for the category of Best Progressive R&B Album for The Love Album: Off The Grid.
And now, he has been accused of sexual assault by former partner and singer Cassie, whose real name is Cassandra Ventura.
According to the musician, Diddy allegedly used his power to intimidate her for years. She added that he apparently subjected her to physical and sexual violence this entire time, forcing her to engage in intercourse with male prostitutes as he filmed her.
However, Diddy took to denying all such allegations. It was later revealed on the 28th of November, 2023, that the pair had decided to settle the matter out of court.
In the weeks after the allegations, three additional women took to launching lawsuits against the musician.
All of them alleged that he raped and sexually assaulted them between the years of 1991 to 2003 on various occasions.
The Missing You singer shortly released a statement through his Instagram account, denying any such accusations.
In his words, the star believes that sickening allegations were made against him by a number of individuals who are only looking for a payday.
He believes that they are only milking the situation for the sake of money. But Diddy is determined to fight this time, saying that he will not back down and will stand for himself, his family, and the truth.
Back in December, the Recording Academy, which is in charge of running the voting procedures at the Grammys, stated that they have taken all these allegations very seriously.
They went on to add that they are evaluating the matter with utmost precautions and are devoting necessary care and time to it.
In other news, Britney Spears has revealed that she will soon be releasing something big.
According to the I’m A Slave singer, she has something up her sleeve. In a video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, the musician only teased that she was working on something.
However, she did not explain what it was. Instead, she directed fans to sign up for her mailing list so that they could be the first ones to know what she has in store.
In the video, fans pointed out that they could hear her hit track, Baby One More Time playing in the background.
The song is going to be celebrating its 25th anniversary in the current year.
Consequently, fans quickly speculated what the announcement could be, especially since Britney announced a couple of months ago that she would not be dropping any new music in the near future.
In the words of the musician, she will not be setting foot in the music industry ever again and has not been speaking to artists about collaborations.
