Travis Scott Cancels Gig Due To Flight Delay

In recent news, Travis Scott was forced to cancel one of his performances in Chicago due to a delay in his flight.

However, the 32-year-old was forced to postpone due to the plane that he was on being stuck on the runway for around 24 hours.

The singer took to the micro-blogging website X, formerly known as Twitter, to talk about his experience of being stuck on the runway for that long.

The star further assured fans that he would be continuing the performance in January.

He went on to add how excited he had been to perform for the audience in Chicago, saying that it has always been one of his favorite places to have concerts.

In the words of the rapper, he had been waiting to perform in the city for the entirety of his tour and is now as disappointed as the fans.

He went on to assure fans that he would be back in the Windy City in the first couple of days of January.

Meanwhile, the account of the venue on X went on to state that the scheduled concert for the United Centre would be postponed until the first month of the upcoming year.

All the previously purchased tickets would thus be honored for the new date after it is announced.

Consequently, the venue’s social media handle added that it would be posting more details on X and emailing ticket holders directly about the updated dates.

A message was posted only a couple of hours later, announcing that the new tour date would now be the 3rd of January, 2024.
