Sheryl Crow To Release New Record And Album

In recent news, Sheryl Crow has caused quite a buzz among her fans by announcing that she is soon going to be releasing a new album and single.

As per the 61-year-old, this will be her 11th studio album and is going to be titled Evolution. The announcement further revealed that she will be putting it out on the 29th of March in the coming year.

The Valory Music Group has taken to help the musician record this album, as well as her new single, Alarm Clock.

The star also revealed that Mike Elizondo has shown faith in her and produced her entire album.

Meanwhile, he has also co-written Sherly’s new single alongside Emily Weisband for the first time ever.

In her words, the lyrics and music of the new single are from a deep place from within the 61-year-old herself.

She went on to add that she thought she would never make music again after her 10th studio album since she believed she had nothing more to say.

But according to the star, this music comes from within her soul and is a part of her forever now.

Sheryl also recalled how she had been thinking that all music these days is song-oriented and concerned with streaming.

Consequently, she believes that making an album is difficult in this day and age. However, once she sat down to write and create, she could not stop.

As a result, she kept sending one song after the other to Mike, and the pair decided to release an album for the fans.

Moreover, the musician was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just recently, which further boosted her resolve to give something to the fans.

The star has been granted the honor of being a part of the 2023 class alongside several other musicians and celebrities.

These include Kata Bush, Rage Against The Machine, The Spinners, Missy Elliot, George Michael, and Willie Nelson.

For this grand celebration, a ceremony was held in New York a couple of days ago, where the 61-year-old performed alongside Olivia Rodrigo.

Later, she also gushed over how cool she thought the 20-year-old was, recalling their performance together.

The musician believes that Olivia is pretty talented and precious, as well as an excellent songwriter.

She also praised the Vampire hitmaker for not letting fame get to her head and being as humble as ever.

According to Sheryl, the 20-year-old has come a long way and seems to be unaffected by all the fame that she has.

In her words, the star recalled how when she was Olivia’s age, she did not have anything together and was just wondering how to fill out college applications.

The 61-year-old went on to talk about how it was her idea to bring in the young musician for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame performance.

She recalled that she personally texted the hitmaker, who said she would be honored to perform alongside Sheryl.
