Pet Shop Boys Slam Drake For Using Their Song

Just recently, Pet Shop Boys called out Drake for using their song and not taking permission beforehand to do so.

The duo, which comprises Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant, said that they were unimpressed by All The Parties, which is a track on the God’s Plan hitmaker’s latest studio album.

For All The Dogs, the singer took to sampling the 1984 track of the Pet Shop Boys, called West End Girls. However, the pair is upset that it did not receive any credit or recognition for the contribution it made.

The band took to posting on X, the micro-blogging website previously known as Twitter, and admitted that it was surprising that Drake sang the chorus to their song in his track but did not even request permission to do so.

As of now, the representatives of neither artist have made a comment on the similarity of the chorus.

On the other hand, Drake recently revealed that he would likely be taking a year or more off from music to focus on his physical health.

According to the 36-year-old singer, this break is necessary for him to deal with various issues related to his stomach, which is why he will be taking a step back from the spotlight.

However, the star has not yet revealed exactly what health issues he is dealing with. He has taken to assure fans that it is nothing serious.

In addition, the Hotline Bling hitmaker, who is one of the best-selling artists in the world, revealed that he will be returning to the music scene but is unsure when.

Moreover, Drake said that he will be using this time off to do other things that he has always wanted to do. Thus, he will be locking his studio for a while.

In other news, Victoria Beckham has revealed that she fell in love with herself shortly after moving to Los Angeles.

In a recent interview, the former star of the Spice Girls said that when she packed up her life and made the move to California, she felt like herself more so than ever.

According to the 49-year-old, it was not an easy decision to leave her old life behind and move to the state alongside her husband, David Beckham, the soccer icon, and three sons, Romeo, Cruz, and Brooklyn.

The family relocated to the US back in 2007 after they spent four years in Spain. At the time, David had been a player for the popular football club, Real Madrid.

She revealed that the paparazzi had been intense back when they had been in Spain and the UK, and they had gotten used to cameras being in their face all day long.

However, when the family arrived in LA, they were able to take a breather. In the US, she stated, her sons had more freedom to do the things that they liked, as did she.

In a different interview, the fashion designer also talked about how she felt like she was more accepted now that she is in the City of Angels.
