Drake Dominates Charts With Most Recent Album

In recent news, Drake is gearing up to dominate this week’s Official Albums Chart with his latest album, For All The Dogs. It is on track to become the sixth UK Number 1 record from the star.

Meanwhile, Aubrey Graham’s eighth studio album, whose release was delayed a number of times, is likely to debut at Number 1 on the chart starting from Friday.

Consequently, the Hotline Bling hitmaker is going to have his second consecutive LP at Number 1 in less than 12 months.

This will follow the collaborative album that the star released alongside 21 Savage back in 2022, titled Her Loss.

This will not be the first time that the 36-year-old will top the Official Albums Chart in the UK.

Previously, the star landed at the top with Views, released in 2016; Scorpion, which he put out in 2018; Dark Lane Demo Tapes, released in 2020; and Certified Lover Boy from 2021.

Heading to debut in the Number 2 position is Crop Circle 3 by Nines. This could be the second consecutive album that has landed in the top charts by the band, with the first being Crop Circle 2.

The latter managed to peak at the second position on the Official Albums Chart in May of this year.

On the other hand, The Dark Side Of The Moon Redux by Roger Waters is likely to see a debut at Number 3.

The special re-issue is a celebration of the legacy of the magnum opus by Pink Floyd, namely Dark Side Of The Moon.

Back in 1973, the opus peaked at Number 2 before it went on to become one of the best-selling albums of all time, especially in the UK.

As of now, Indie singer and songwriter from America, Sufjan Stevens, is aiming for his most recent album to become the top-grossing album in the UK.

This will mark the highest-peaking record of the star’s career, and Javelin will take the Number 4 position on the Official Albums Chart.

Back in 2015, Sufjan managed to secure a placement in the Top 10 with Carrie & Lowell, which stood at Number 6 on the chart.

In addition, the debut album, Another Friday Night by Joel Corry, has been predicted to launch into the Top 10 for the first time ever after it was released.

The last time the tracks of the album were made available to be streamed as EPs.

Elsewhere in the Top 10 list is The Darkness, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of its debut record from 2003, which went on to top multiple charts. Permission To Land is currently on track to take the Number 7 position in the current week.

Further down the line in the Top 10 chart is the Oxfordshire indie trio, namely Stornoway, which could earn its third-ever Top 20 album in the UK.

Meanwhile, MC Slim from South London is hoping to hit a new high in his career with Still Working 2, which is a new entrant in the Official Albums Chart at Number 16.
