In recent news, Jamie Spears, the father of Britney Spears, has suffered through a bacterial infection, which landed him in hospice.
The father of the Toxic hitmaker spent a couple of days in the hospital before being discharged. As of now, he is recovering.
Sources close to the 71-year-old revealed that he became seriously ill and was taken to the hospital. Since then, the former business owner has been shifted to an infectious disease outpatient facility for his recovery.
This health care of the father of the hitmaker comes only five years after his previous hospitalization. Back in 2018, in Las Vegas, the 71-year-old reported that his colon had spontaneously ruptured.
Due to a medical emergency at the time, Jamie underwent emergency surgery and then spent 28 days recovering in the hospital.
Aside from Britney, Jamie also has a daughter named Jamie Lynn, who is 32 years old, and a son Bryan, who is 46 years old.
Up until two years ago, the retired construction business owner had taken control of his daughter Britney’s life for no less than 13 years. He had established himself as her estate’s conservator.
However, Jamie was suspended from being the conservator back in 2021, and the legal agreement also came to an end shortly after.
Since then, the popstar has taken to distance herself from her father. However, due to the legal arrangement, the pair is still embroiled in a number of legal issues.
In other news, Lana Del Rey has said that she cannot figure out how her music tends to get leaked, despite the fact that she takes a number of precautions to ensure that it does not happen.
Some of the hitmaker’s unreleased music was put out in October of 2022, months after she reported that devices that contained her book manuscript and music were stolen.
As per the Video Games singer, she had left her backpack in her parked car in a building in Los Angeles, and by the time she got back, her stuff had been stolen.
According to Lana, she does not understand how this keeps happening to her, referring to the leaks.
In her words, the popstar said that she takes extensive protection to ensure that her new material is safe and secure.
She seemed baffled by the fact that her records were leaked five months prior to the release date. Lana recalled that this has been going on for the past 11 years.
The singer further revealed that she has previously double-checked everything to prevent her songs from being leaked. She said that on occasions, she has made sure not to keep them with her in digital form, either.
Before the release of various of her songs, Lana, real name Elizabeth Grant, has taken to discourage her fans from listening to the leaked tracks.
The last time her tracks were leaked, the star put out her latest album, Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. This was her fourth album in the time span of four years, but the 38-year-old said that she became upset due to the leaks.
