In recent news, Drake has announced that he will be taking a break from making music and performing to pay more attention to his health.
The Hotline Bling rapper, in an interview, revealed that he has decided to take a step back from the spotlight.
In his words, this hiatus will commence now that he has dropped his most recent album, For All The Dogs.
According to the rapper, he will not be making music until further notice.
He further divulged that the reason for this break was to focus on bettering his health. However, the Canadian star did not disclose what health issues he was facing.
On the other hand, he did imply that the issues regarding his health are related to his stomach.
Assuring his fans, Drake said that despite the fact that he has been experiencing problems lately, he is doing fine, and there is nothing seriously wrong with him.
The 36-year-old went on to say that there are a number of other things that he needs to focus on, which is why he will be locking his studio for the time being.
The One Dance hitmaker has also provided an estimate of the amount of time he will be gone for, which is a year. However, he has said that this time period is not written in stone.
In the last couple of years, the singer has been on a music spree and has managed to release no less than four albums in the last two years.
His most recent record, For All The Dogs was released just two days ago after a number of delays.
It comes after his 2021 release, Certified Lover Boy and 2022 releases, Honestly, Her Loss, and Nevermind.
While the rest were solo albums released by the Canadian popstar, Her Loss was a collaborative record that he made with 21 Savage.

When talking about her outfit, Cardi said that she wants it to be skimpy and her entrance should be extravagant.
Further discussing her walk from the gate to the stage, the rapper said that she wants to walk in with two guys and follow it up with a routine on the ropes.
