In recent news, Ed Sheeran has incurred the fury of numerous fans when he canceled a show just hours before he was due to be on stage.
The Perfect hitmaker had a show scheduled for the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. However, he did not go through with it and scheduled it for 28th October instead.
In the words of the star, there were various production challenges that were holding him back, so he postponed the show just hours before he was all set to go on the stage.
The singer took to Instagram to break the news, saying he felt upset at having to postpone the concert, but it is not in his hands.
Making an apology to the fans, Ed acknowledged that people’s time and energy would be wasted. But he added that there is nothing he can do to change it.
All tickets for the canceled show will be valid for the show scheduled for the 28th of October.
Even before Ed had decided to push the show, the authorities of the venue had warned that the timings could be significantly delayed.
However, the singer pulled the plug himself just hours before the show. The venue also took to issuing an apology to the fans for the inconvenience.
The venue’s management went on to communicate the update to fans through its app, website, as well as other social media channels.
Moreover, the venue opened its doors well before time to grant fans an escape from the heat. People were also given any kind of assistance they needed.
But fans were less than happy after the cancelation because they were tired after queuing outside the venue for hours.
In other news, Dua Lipa has now revealed that she was the mother of her friendship group a couple of years ago.
In an interview, the 28-year-old hitmaker revealed that she would take it upon herself to protect her friends. This was back when she used to work the nightlife scene at the start of her career.
In the words of the star, she was rather strong when she was younger. She would often be questioned by her parents if she was doing okay whenever she worked at restaurants or nightclubs.
The Dance The Night singer further added that whenever she was out with her friends, she would keep an eye out for people. If anyone started to act weird with her girls and they became uncomfortable, she would step in.
Furthermore, the singer recalled how men would often tell her to smile more. But she was never intimidated by them or scared of them.
Rather, she would face them head-on and tell them not to speak to her or tell her when to smile.
During the interview, the 28-year-old was also asked if she found it challenging to break into the modeling industry, given that she was in the nightclub business.
But Dua insisted that she used to love the experience. Recalling her days working at restaurants and nightclubs, she said that she loved living the crazy experience.
She further revealed that she made great friends and enjoyed the time she spent partying.
