In recent news, Travis Scott has secured the Number 1 album position for the first time in his career with Utopia. The record has claimed the biggest streaming number for this year in a week.
By far, Utopia is the most popular LP of 2023, which is also the fourth studio album released by the rapper from Texas. The record has managed to reach the summit, despite being only released online.
Before the star put out this album, he enjoyed much success in the music industry. He has had no less than three songs in the Top 40 records.
These include Rodeo, a release from 2015, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, which was put out in the year 2016, and Influential Astroworld in 2018. These stood at positions 22, 19, and 3, respectively.
At first, Anne Marie and Travis’s songs were in a neck-and-neck race, which went on for the entire week. In the end, however, the former landed at number 2.
She recently released her third-ever studio album called Unhealthy and managed to claim the title for the fastest-selling record in the UK for a female artist in the year 2023.
Where the numbers are concerned, Unhealthy was only 1,500 units on the chart behind Utopia.
It joined Speak Your Mind in 2018, and Therapy in 2021, and has now become the third album to land in the Top 5, which was released by Anne Marie.
In addition, Unhealthy is currently selling out quickly and has taken the position of the fastest-selling LP released by a female soloist in the UK.
This record was also taken by Anne Marie and has not been achieved since the machine and Florence managed to reach the summit of the Official Albums Chart with Dance Fever, back in May of 2022.
As of now, Unhealthy is at the top of the Official Vinyl Albums Chart and has shifted a majority of its copies to that format this week alone.
This has proved that the LP is one of the most readily purchased LPs present in independent record shops across the UK. Moreover, the album has made its debut at the top of the Official Record Store Chart.
Currently, Austin by Post Malone has become the fifth album by the singer to land in the Top 10. It debuted at number 3 and won the hearts of many fans across the globe.
The fifth studio album made by the New York singer and rapper joined Stoney, which was released in 2018, and Beerbongs and Bentleys, which was put out in 2018.
In the year 2019, the singer also released another LP called Hollywood’s Bleeding, which took the number 1 position on the chart.
Then, the release of Twelve Carat Toothache in 2022 landed at the third position in the Top 10.
Where other works of the singer are concerned, his Diamond Collection ended up jumping two spots this week alone.
Fans have been quick to show how proud they are of Post Malone’s brilliant feats.
