In recent news, it has been reported that Sam Asghari has filed for divorce from Britney Spears, to whom he got married just fourteen months ago.
Soon after the rumors of the couple splitting hit the internet, the American-Iranian actor and model took to court to file the paperwork and begin divorce proceedings with the popstar.
As per sources close to the couple, the 29-year-old has said that there are irreconcilable differences between the two. Thus, they have decided to separate.
Consequently, the date of the split has been listed as the 28th of July.
The lawyer, who is representing the soon-to-be ex-husband of the singer, said that Sam is only looking for his legal fees to be covered, as well as spousal support.
Neal Hersh, the attorney on the case, has additionally stated that the model will be contesting the prenuptial agreement that was signed before the two tied the knot.
