Beyonce Sends Out Love For Lizzo During Performance

In recent news, Beyonce has shown her support for the now embattled star, Lizzo, amid her performance held earlier in the week.

While performing at her gig, which was being held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the city of Atlanta, Georgia, Beyonce listed a couple of celebrities for the remix of The Queens.

As part of her ritual, the singer reels off various names, which include influential Black female artists. This is an important part of Beyonce’s rendition of the famous, Break My Soul.

However, when the star listed Lizzo, she made her support clear and added how much she loves the About Damn Time hitmaker.

Earlier in the month, a couple of former dancers who used to work for Lizzo, namely Crystal Williams, Noelle Rodriguez, and Arianna Davis, sued Lizzo.

They claimed that they had suffered religious, racial, and sexual harassment on account of the singer, as well as weight shaming and disability discrimination.

The former employees went on to say that the star and her team also created a hostile environment for them to work in.

Soon after the news spread on social media, Beyonce decided to omit the singer’s name. She repeated Erykah Badu’s name in order to replace Lizzo’s.

During a show that was held in Massachusetts, the video footage showed Beyonce calling out Betty Davis’s name, followed by Solange Knowles and then Badu’s name thrice.

But when the snub from the legend hit the headlines, Tina Knowles, the mother of the Halo singer, spoke out saying that this was a misunderstanding.

In the subsequent shows held by Beyonce, she reinstated Lizzo’s name when listing various influential females.

Melissa Jefferson, stage name Lizzo, also took to issuing a statement on Instagram soon after the allegations surfaced, saying that she was not the villain.

In the words of the 35-year-old, she was only being portrayed as the bad guy by the former dancers.

The lawsuit filed against the singer also accused her production company, namely Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc, as well as Shirlene Quigley, the current dance captain.

In other news, Adele cried on stage as she helped soon-to-be-parents carry out a gender reveal.

The music megastar started to sob during her performance in Las Vegas when she decided to help make this moment special for an expecting couple who had come out to see her.

The 35-year-old is currently halfway through her Weekends With Adele performances. They are being held in Las Vegas, where the New York couple had been in the audience.

In a clip that was later posted on social media by the soon-to-be-father, Adele spotted their sign, which contained a request to help them reveal the gender of the baby.

The singer then invited the pair to come up on stage and joked about how signs are not allowed in the stadium, but she was amazed that they had managed to bring one in.

The Rumor Has It singer then took the piece of paper handed to her and revealed that the couple were expecting a boy.

The 35-year-old then gave the couple a hug and started to sob.
