In recent news, Paloma Faith has confirmed the rumors surrounding the separation from Leyman Lahcine, her husband.
The British singer went on to post on social media about the split from the French artist, by deeming herself to be a single mum.
In an Instagram post, the Picking Up The Pieces hitmaker posted several snaps from her vacation on Mallorca, a popular Spanish island. In the caption, she reflected on how she had looked after her two girls by herself on this holiday.
In the caption, the singer further added how she can only speak survival Spanish, which is not bad given that no one in her family used to speak Spanish.
Consequently, her Paloma added how that survival Spanish allowed her to take care of her two kids on her own, whose company she loves.
She ended the post by saying that she is blessed in numerous ways and is always grateful for the love she has.
The 42-year-old started dating Leyman back in 2013, and the pair tied the knot in the year 2017. Their first daughter was born in the year 2016, December, while the second one arrived in February of 2021.
The couple’s separation was reported shortly after, in November of 2022.
In other news, Ne-Yo has made an apology after he came under fire for a couple of comments regarding gender identity and parenting.
Just recently, the Closer star questioned parents, who give their minor children permission to make decisions that can change the course of their life. He pointed the finger while referring to gender identities.
Due to this comment, Ne-Yo received some backlash. However, he has now taken to social media to make an apology.
In his words, he reflected on what he said and wanted to offer his deepest apologies to people who were hurt by his comments regarding gender identity and parenting.
The R&B singer talked about how he has always been a supporter of inclusivity and love in the LGBTQI+ community, so he can understand the negative impact his comments may have had.
The 43-year-old went on to say how nuanced gender identity is, which is why he has chosen to educate himself on the topic before he can make comments.
According to Ne-Yo, he is also going to learn more about gender identity to ensure that he can approach a sensitive subject like that with empathy.
Lastly, he added that he is an advocate of freedom of expression, as well as the pursuit of happiness.
Formerly, the father of five children appeared on tv and joked about how people these days might even identify as a goldfish. But, he added, he would never refer to someone as a goldfish.
He further discussed how parents are irresponsible in letting their children make gender identity-related decisions themselves.
Ne-Yo questioned how parents could just abide by the requests of their sons wanting to be girls and vice-versa.
In the singer’s opinion, this is a huge decision that parents should not take lightly.
