In recent news, Will.i.am has talked about how he cannot wait for Britney Spears to make her big comeback. He also wants to collaborate on a song with her and is excited to do so.
Just recently, the pair took to working on a song together, called Mind Your Business, and the rapper said that he will make sure that he is always available when it comes to recording with Britney.
In an interview, he said that wherever, whenever, and however Britney needed him to be for a song together, he would clear his schedule and make sure to prioritize her. In his words, she is an amazing human being, and he enjoys working with her.
will.i.am, and Britney formerly worked on Scream And Shout back in 2012, when he revealed that he was a mega fan of the star. He recalled how he fell in love with her work back when she released Toxic in 2003.
The 48-year-old went on to talk about how he went to see the Black Eyed Peas in 2007 in Rio, Portugal, and Britney appeared as the headliner. That was when he heard Toxic once again and said that it changed his life for good.
According to Will.i.am, the track provided him with guidance on how to write and compete in the music industry. He also met Britney at the time and told her how from the chorus to the video, every aspect of the song was perfect.
When asked about how the rapper and Britney started to work together, the former explained that the first song he ever did alongside her was Big Fat Bass. However, he believes that he did not perform to the best of his abilities in that song.
The 48-year-old said that he loves this song but would still like to change a couple of things. When the pair decided to revisit the song, they ended up creating Scream and Shout, which is perfect for Big Fat Bass and the catchphrases it introduces.
In the words of Will.i.am, the song also serves its purpose of hyping the crowd. He said that Britney could perform it on stage and ensure that the people in the audience are all hyped up due to the beat of the song.
The rapper loves the creation so much that he would rate it as one of his best songs. He said he would easily list it at the top when asked which song he loves the most.
