Ed Sheeran Talks About How Challenging It Is To Write Pop Music

In recent news, Ed Sheeran has said that writing pop music is one of the biggest challenges of being in the field of music. In his words, this kind of music is more difficult to write than any other kind of music.

The songwriter/singer went on to insist that negative reviews from people do not bother him. This is because he knows that his creations will never be adored by people across the globe.

However, the singer is adamant that even if people do not like their music, pop stars should receive all the respect that they deserve.

In the words of the 32-year-old, it is not easy to come up with a catchy tune for every song that you create, which is why pop music is difficult to create.

Ed appeared on CBS Sunday Morning and talked about how much he cares about what people think of his music. This is mainly due to the fact that the singer spent his entire life trying to be successful.

However, he pointed out that he was never going to be appreciated by everyone. Even so, he added, he does not back down from working hard and creating music.

The singer further talked about his recent copyright trial, which he ended up winning. He had been accused of plagiarizing Let’s Get It On, by Marvin Gaye and using the same chords for his song, Thinking Out Loud.

According to the singer, despite the court case, there will always be similarities in the music of different artists. This is because they all use four chords in pop songs.

Moreover, Ed talked about the mathematical probability of these chords being used multiple times in different songs. In his words, there was bound to be an overlap at some point, but that does not mean that another artist is being copied.

The 32-year-old insisted that as long as people use these four chords, not everyone could be dragged to court like he was. Unless someone does something wrong, there is no need to sue them, said the artist.

In other news, Charli XCX has revealed that she will be making a debut in a horror film that will soon be put out.

The hitmaker of Break The Rules was cast in the remake of Faces Of Death, which is a 1978 classic. She will be starring alongside Darce Montgomery and Barbie Ferreira, who are both stars from Stanger Things.

As of now, the movie is undergoing production in the city of New Orleans. It is going to be directed by the well-known, Daniel Goldhaber, in collaboration with Legendary Pictures.

The director of this film will also be helping out as a writer, along with Isa Mazzei. In a recent statement released by the pair, this movie is going to be presented like a documentary, with a little bit of dramatic flair.

It was also revealed that the new movie will have the same format as the old one and will detail some of the most horrifying murders of the current age.

Majority of the footage that will be used in the film is staged, as per the co-writers. This is because the use of actual footage was proving to be controversial.

For this reason, the movie had previously been banned in various countries.
