In recent news, it has been confirmed that Harry Styles will be performing on stage at the 2023 BRIT Awards. The awaited show will be held next month at the O2 Arena in London. The date announced for the event is 11th of February.
The British superstar has also been nominated for no less than four awards for various achievements at the event. He is also going to be competing against several other stars for the prestigious Artist and Album of the Year awards.
In addition, Harry has also been nominated for the Pop/R&B Act and Song of the Year categories, alongside a bunch of artists. These include Kim Petras, Sam Smith, and Wet Leg.
Where the performance of the popular British star is concerned, the organizers released a statement in which they praised his song, As It Was. They also complimented the Harry’s live performances and sent out their heartiest congratulations for his most recent achievement. The singer has managed to ensure that his most recent album was the biggest-selling in the U.K. Moreover, he has also snagged the position most-listened to single in 2022 with one of his hit songs.
Ever since Harry launched his solo career, soon after the split from his former boy band, One Direction, he has gone on to win two BRIT Awards for his songs.
The organizers of the event released the nominations for the BRIT Awards 2023 in the previous week. Wet Leg and Harry Styles were both nominated for four awards each for their achievements. Various other artists were also nominated for different prizes, namely Arctic Monkeys, Aitch, Dave, Eliza Rose, Ed Sheeran, Cat Burns, Beyonce, Nova Twins, Stormzy, Tyalor Swift, Eliza Rose, Sam Smith, and Lizzo.
In other news, Sam Asghari has publicly denied reports that suggest Britney Spears had a meltdown at a restaurant just a couple of days ago.
Over the last weekend, news sources reported that the popular popstar caused a fuss when she was out for dinner with her husband. Sam Asghari and she had been at a restaurant on Friday night at Woodland Hills in California.
According to the news report, eyewitnesses talked about seeing Britney acting manic and speaking gibberish. However, in a now viral video, the singer can be seen trying to shield her face using a menu. This video was captured by another customer who had spotted Britney at the restaurant while she was in the middle of dinner with her husband.
As the news spread online, Sam took to social media and denied all allegations. In his Instagram Stories, Britney’s husband urged people to not believe everything that they read online. He further went on to express how frustrated he is by this incident. Moreover, Sam stated that he felt disrespected due to a random stranger recording him and his wife while they tried to enjoy a dinner together.
In his words, Sam discussed how people tend to get overexcited at the sight of his wife and forget that she is a human being with boundaries as well. He admitted that the fame comes with her being a celebrity, but that Britney deserves to enjoy time with her loved ones without people spreading false news online.
