Mo Gilligan Makes His Return To Host BRIT Awards 2023

In recent news, it has been revealed that Mo Gilligan will be returning to host the upcoming BRIT Awards 2023 with Mastercard.

Just last year, the comedian made a memorable debut with his performance at a prestigious award ceremony. This year, he will be back with even more jokes to poke fun at some of the biggest stars in the industry. In 2023, the event will be held at the O2 Arena in London on the 11th of February.

At last year’s event, Mo hosted the show instead of Jack Whitefall, a fellow comedian. While he had the crowd in tears, he was forced to make a public apology due to him swearing before the watershed at 9pm. The reason behind his foul language was that he was doing a funny impression of the well-known singer, Liam Gallagher. If that was not enough, the comedian has promised that this year he will be doing something even bigger at the BRIT Awards.

In Mo’s words, hosting the award show last year was one of the best and most phenomenal moments that he has ever experienced. He expressed how honored he was to have been invited to host by one of the most important nights in the music industry. According to him, it was a pleasure to be surrounded by some of his favorite artists and peers. Thus, he wants to put on an even better show at the BRIT Awards 2023 with Mastercard.

The President and Managing Director of BRIT Awards 2023 with Mastercard, Damian Christian, also added that it was important to get Mo back this year too. Being the President of Promotions at Atlantic Records, he understands that the comedian is one of the top names in the field of UK entertainment and people will be on the lookout for him. The Chair also praised Mo’s performance at last year’s event, saying that he is looking forward to see what he has in store for 2023.

Christian ended his statement by applauding the effort of the comedian and talked about enjoying his unique humor on stage and on the big screen once again.

The nominations for the event will soon be made public through an exclusive live stream, which will be aired on Thursday. It will also go live on the various social media channels of BRIT Awards 2023 by Mastercard.

As of now, Jack Saunders and Vick Hope have been chosen to lead the several celebrities who will be announcing the shortlist.

In other news, Nelly Furtado has finally given her first performance in 5 years at the Beyond the Valley festival, held in Australia. She joined Dom Dolla on stage and sang her first song after ages. The singer picked ‘Say It Right’ for this occasion, which is currently trending on Tik-Tok.

More than 30,000 patrons were present at the event and were treated to an unforgettable and exclusive New Year’s set by the global popstar. She took to the stage, situated in one of the biggest natural amphitheaters in the world.

However, she did not stick to just one song. Nelly stole the show with some of her top hit songs from the 00’s, which included Maneater, I’m Like A Bird, and Promiscuous.
