Cardi B Uses The Term ‘Lapdog’ To Refer To City Girls Rapper

In recent news, City Girls rapper, JT, and Cardi B were involved in a feud on the micro-blogging website, Twitter.

The hip-hop star and the Bodak Yellow rapper have previously worked together on a song back in 2018, Twerk. However, instead of collaborating this time, they traded heated insults on Twitter, and soon after the two celebrated their friend, GloRilla, making her way onto the Billboard Top 10. This was due to the collab she did with Cardi on Tomorrow 2.

One user on Twitter was quick to pick up on the fact that JT only extended her congratulations towards GloRilla, instead of both artists. They joked that the rapper probably did not care to mention Cardi B because it may cause a rift between her and her friend, Nicki Minaj, who also happens to be Cardi’s rap rival.

JT, whose real name is Jatavia Johnson, on the other hand, insisted that this was not the case at all. However, Cardi B wrote a subtweet and called the JT a lapdog.

In response, the star of City Girls went on to call the Bodak Yellow rapper a bully, and further insulting tweets ensued between the two. Soon after, JT revealed that the two were also having a conversation in private but expressed distaste that Cardi was still putting on a show for the rest of the world.

According to Cardi, it was JT who was not responding to DMs and she proceeded to call the City Girls star an opportunist. she further accused the rapper of only creating drama for clout.

In the end, JT revealed that their private messages were turning into personal attacks, and she decided to end the conversation right there. On the other hand, Cardi B went on to suggest that the City Girls do not have talent and have not made a good song since 2019.

In other news, Coldplay has been forced to call off a couple of his gigs, soon after it was revealed that Chris Martin is suffering from a serious lung infection.

The hitmakers of Viva La Vida have decided to postpone their concerts in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, which were supposed to take place next week. As of now, the 45-year-old star has been given strict instructions to rest for at least 3 weeks. His doctors are of the opinion that this time should be enough to help the singer recover.

The new dates of the shows have not yet been announced, but the group did express deep regret at having to postpone. They added that they have been working around the clock to figure out different dates, which will be scheduled for next year, and that the fans will hear from them soon.

The band further apologized for disappointing the fans, insisting that they needed to put Chris’s health above everything. It extended another apology to fans in Brazil, apologizing for any inconvenience and disappointment caused.
