Liam Gallagher Drops Hints About An Upcoming Romance Album

In recent news, Liam Gallagher has dropped some hints that he is working on an album of love songs.

The former frontman of Oasis teased that while he was working on this third solo album, which was much awaited by fans, he thought of adding a couple of ballads to it. However, the overall sound of the songs on the album turned out to be more toward mad rock’n’roll.

The Wall Of Glass hitmaker went on to say that he has stored a couple of chilled tunes, which are currently in the vein of Simon and Garfunkel. He added that these could possibly be going towards a new album that he is working on, full of love songs.

Liam further said that during the coronavirus pandemic, people were wondering whether it was the end of the world and blaming themselves for it. He talked about how people became more appreciative of life and earth as the virus started to take over every aspect. At the time, the hitmaker realized that once the ordeal passed, artists would be making songs about how much they hated the government and other irrelevant things.

Thus, the singer decided that he would approach the situation from a different angle and come up with an album that comprises only love songs. He added that he was focusing more on a sound that is similar to Simon and Garfunkel.

The 49-year-old star went on to say that there were a couple of songs that he did manage to write but decided to add the tinge of rock’n’roll to them. As of now, the album has not been fully released and is due to be launched on the 27th of May. However, the title track, as well as Everything’s Electric has been put out into the world. The latter is a rock tune that was co-written by the frontman of Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl. He can also be heard playing drums in the song.

In other news, Carly Rae Jepsen made an appearance to highlight Coachella 2022 and ended up debuting a new song. This is the first song that the singer has written in the last two years.

The Call Me Maybe hitmaker performed her latest track, Western Wind on the first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which was held at the Empire Polo Club in the city of Indio, California. The 36-year-old artist, later on, posted a couple of snaps from the world-famous festival to show off her performance on Instagram. She expressed gratitude towards her fans, saying she was grateful for how well the show started off.

Up until recently, the popstar had been teasing the single on social media platforms. Meanwhile, she also marked the 10th anniversary of her hit song, Call Me Maybe in the month of September. She added that it had been like a lightning bolt in her life. She recalled that when she had first recorded the giddy tune in 2011, she had felt giddy and excited about its release.
