Mandy Moore Expresses Happiness At Britney Spears’s Legal Victory

In recent news, Mandy Moore expressed how thrilled she is that Britney Spears has finally won the legal battle against her conservatorship.

Just a few days ago, Judge Brenda Penny ruled to terminate the legal arrangement that had bounded the singer since the year 2008. The 13-year conservatorship was brought to an end in the court, allowing Spears to take control of her own financial and personal decisions, effective immediately. 

Mandy, the This Is Us actress had risen to fame as a singer, same as the Toxic hitmaker. The two had become quite popular in the late ‘90s, as well as the early 2000s. Over the weekend, she took to talking about Spears’s conservatorship battle, stating how happy she had been to know that she was now free. 

In Mandy’s words, Britney deserved the freedom that she got, which she had been wanting for years. She went on to add that she, alongside fans and other supporters, had been following the #FreeBritney movement. 

Shortly after the ruling from Judge Brenda Penny, Britney went on social media and posted a video of the supporters who had shown up outside the courthouse, as part of the #FreeBritney campaign. She captioned the post, as well, saying how much she adored her fans and how relieved she was. She continued to thank God, as well as all the people who had shown her support during her trying time. 

Mathew Rosengart, the attorney to the Toxic hitmaker, added that it was a monumental day the day Britney’s conservatorship came to an end. He added how the singer is now free to make her own decisions and that she is a free woman, who does not need to be controlled by anyone every again. 

A couple of celebrities, such as Cher, Iggy Azalea, and Lady Gaga, took to social media to congratulate the 39-year-old and expressed how glad they were to receive the news. Meanwhile, Paris Hilton took a break from her wedding celebrations and reacted to the news too. 

Tagging Spears, she stated that she was happy that this day had finally come for the popstar. Hilton praised her for being kind, inspiring and resilient, in the face of adversity. She went on to express further excitement for Britney’s future, adding the hashtag, #FreedBritney. 

In other news, Absolute Radio announced that it is glad to be presenting Inhaler in front of a live audience, in a performance scheduled at the 100 clubs on the 9th of December. 

Originally from Dublin, Inhaler is an Irish rock band and is one of the most exciting new ones to have emerged in the industry. It consists of guitarist and singer, Eli Hewson, Robert Keating, the bassist, Ryan McMahon, the drummer, and Josh Jenkinson, the guitarist. 

Earlier in the year, the band had released its debut no. 1 album named, ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’, just after finishing a sold-out tour in the UK. Eli Hewson commented how excited he was to play another show in the Kingdom, before the end of the year. He applauded the audience for being energetic and for supporting the band all the way to the 100 Club.
