Fetty Wap Grieves The Loss Of His Daughter

In recent news, Fetty Wap, the rapper, is grieving the loss of his four-year-old daughter named Lauren Maxwell.

She passed away in the month of June after experiencing an undisclosed and brief illness, as per sources. Turquoise Miami, Lauren’s mother, also confirmed the news of her passing by posting on Instagram, late on Sunday night.

The post consisted of a smiling video of the four-year-old in a pool. The mother captioned it to let the world know that this video was of her beautiful, loving, amazing, funny, talented, vibrant, hardheaded, and smart daughter. She referred to her as princess mermaid, Aquarius. She urged anyone who saw the post to either say to themselves or comment the words ‘I Love You, Lauren’ to ensure that her daughter’s soul could feel the love.

On the other hand, the rapper has refrained from making any direct comments about the passing of his four-year-old. However, he mentioned her in a recent Instagram Story, after he performed at the Rolling Loud festival last month in Miami. The My Way artist captioned the now-expired story with a note to his daughter saying that his performance was dedicated to her.

The 30-year-old has six young children and Lauren was one of them. Her passing came only a few months after Wap revealed that he lost his brother. While giving interviews, he stated that his sibling had been a twin of his.

Back in the year 2016, while Wap had been giving an interview to Trevor Noah, the comedian, he talked about how becoming famous had changed his perspective on his family. He said that it had taught him to look out for the people he loved. The artist went on to reveal that he is not really a family person but loves spending time with his mom. He disclosed that he drives down to Georgia, just to check in with her and say hello. At the time, he concluded his conversation related to the family by saying that eventually, a person gets tired of being someone that they thought they were.
