TV cook and a popular country singer, Trisha Yearwood, recently announced that she was recruiting Garth Brooks, her superstar husband, to be her kitchen assistant. When asked about this decision of hers, she revealed that she has been unable to smell or taste anything ever since her recovery from the novel coronavirus.
The singer runs a well-known cooking show known as Tricia’s Southern Kitchen. It is aired on the Food Network in America. The host, Yearwood, contracted the deadly disease back in February of 2021. She has reported that despite the fact that she recovered more than a month ago, she still cannot taste or smell anything.
Yearwood talked about how her experience with cooking is kind of different as of now, when she appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show. She explained how much she loves food and therefore, has an entire cooking show but, now she has to ask her husband to taste her food and let her know if it needs more salt or pepper.
She recalled the first time she realized that she had had the common side effect of contracting the virus. Garth usually makes coffee for his wife and she loves it. But that one morning, the singer maintained that it felt a little weak to her. So, she asked her husband if he had even put coffee in the drink.
The TV cook further talked about how surprised she was that her man did not contract the virus as well. Her shock came from the fact that he was always nearby when she was ill.
Laughingly, Yearwood remembered how she kept asking him to quarantine in another room and stay away from her. She went on to add that he must be an alien.
Denying her attempts to push her away, Garth would always stay close to her and tell her that the two were in this together.
The singer added that her husband also got vaccinated and did not have any side effects, not even a sore arm.
