The police force in Los Angeles is on the lookout for a particular video these days. They are trying to recover footage shot from a cellphone camera of an incident that recently occurred. It is said that Tory Lanez the rapper pulled a gun on Megan Thee Stallion and opened fire. The victim was severely injured as a result.
Multiple sources and news outlets revealed that Love Me Now? star aimed the gun at the Savage hitmaker and pulled the trigger. This happened while the two were attending a party at Hollywood Hills. Witnesses stated that the rapper and singer came into a conflict with each other and a dispute ensued. As angry and bitter words were being exchanged, a shot went off wounding Megan.
A source from the party came forward and said that there is video evidence of the incidence. They claimed that the police were notified of the alleged proof and have been hunting it down ever since. However, the LAPD has not commented on the incident. They have not even confirmed whether the said video evidence exists or not. Neither are officials revealing whether Tory is even a suspect or not.
On the other hand, it is true that the rapper was arrested after the incident. Charges for gun possession were filed against him after him and Megan both fled the scene. The victim was also seen getting into his SUV soon after the shot was fired. Several hours after being arrested, Tory posted bail and was seen walking out of the precinct.
Sources later on informed that the star has been summoned by the court on the 13th of October.
In the meantime, Megan Thee Stallion has discussed the incident. She stated that she is grateful and happy to be alive after being shot in the foot at the Hollywood Hills party. She, along with another woman whose identity has yet to be revealed, were riding with Tory when police pulled him over. He and Meghan were quick to leave the scene after shots were fired.
On Wednesday, Meghan finally spoke about the terrible incident on Instagram. She wrote that on Sunday morning, she was shot in the foot. The hitmaker stated that she was devastated given that the crime was committed against her with the intention of causing her severe physical harm.
Recalling the incident, she went over the details of what had happened after she suffered several gunshot wounds. Meghan was not arrested instead, taken to the hospital by police officers so she could be treated. She underwent surgery so that the bullets could be removed. She expressed how grateful she was to have made it out alive given the traumatic incident.
Meghan ended her post on Instagram stating that she is going to focus fully on her recovery so she can resume life as per normal and start making music again. The incident proved to be an eye-opener for her, she said. According to her, it was a ‘blessing in disguise’, one that she needed.
