This is a debut album by American songwriter and singer Billie Eilish. The album was released on 29th March, 2019 through Polydor Records in the UK and Interscope Records in the US. Eilish wrote the lyrics with the help of her elder brother Finneas O’Connell and produced its music at his bedroom studio in Highland Park, LA.

Musically, the album has been described as an electropop, pop, art-pop, and avant pop album, through its important influences from industrial and hip hop music. The theme of the songs explores modern youth, heartbreak, drug addiction, mental health, and suicide with its lyrical sensitivity of horror and humor. She described the album in part by night terror and lucid dreaming.

The album was released with 7 singles, 4 of which are platinum-certified in the United States.  Billie organized a world tour to support her album. During the first week of the release, it ranked on top in many countries and sold over 1.3 million copies in the United States and became the best selling album of the year in Canada. It won the best pop vocal album, best-engineered, and album of the year awards. The non-classical track Bad Guy won song of the year and record of the year award, her brother Finneas also won producer of the year award.

Seventeen years old Billie Eilish was born on 18th December 2001 in Los Angeles, CA. She got media attention with her song Ocean Eyes through Soundcloud in 2015. It was released by Interscope Records.
