On Wednesday, Paris and Prince Jackson hosted an event in Los Angeles at the Mandalay Bay resort to pay tribute to their late father, Michael Jackson on his 60th birthday.
The Legend’s
offspring walked down the red carpet at the Michael Jackson Diamond
celebration and were awestruck by their father’s generosity and his
rise to fame. Prince remembered his father saying that he was proud
of him for allowing the music industry to delve deep into pop music,
thus earning the title King of Pop. But, the 21-year old emphasized
how much his father donated to charities to ensure that he could make
the world a better place in his own way.
Had Michael been
alive today, he would have entered his seventh decade. The legend was
celebrated by being honored with the Humanitarian Service Award for
the year 2018, from the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. The award
was accepted by Paris and Michael only. Their youngest sibling Prince
Michael II, however, was not sighted in any of the pictures with his
brother and sister.
Paris admitted that she is proud of her father, and glad that she was
able to honor him with her brother Prince as she is well aware that
he is the only one who fully understands her. The 20-year old also
thanked everyone who, along with them paid tribute to their deceased
father.
Wednesday was
dubbed as Michael Jackson Day as millions from all over the world
honored the legend by sharing memories of him.
