Afrojack Talks About His Hidden Talent

In recent news, Afrojack has revealed that he has a hidden talent that not many people know about.

The 36-year-old took to revealing that he enjoys drawing and has been told that he is quite talented at it.

The DJ, whose real name is Nick Van De Wall, has become a huge success in the music industry in the last couple of years.

Consequently, he believes that his ability to draw well is a party trick that always comes in handy. In his words, he can copy something, detail by detail, and provide an exact replica.

There is no denying that Afrojack has accumulated considerable success in the field, especially after working with several big-name musicians in the past couple of years. These include the likes of Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha, and David Guetta.

However, he added that he felt the most starstruck when he first faced another Dutch DJ, namely Martin Garrix.

The Another Life hitmaker ran into a fellow artist at the Grammy party being hosted by Clive Davis and was in awe of Martin.

Where his work with David Guetta is concerned, the star believes that he and his fellow musician are poles apart.

But despite their similarities, the 36-year-old has said that the pair can work well together and enjoy each other’s company.

In his words, David has a certain vision, and so does he, which is similar to one another. Consequently, this allows them to put their heads together and come up with something fun.

The DJ was further questioned about the chemistry he shared with David, to which Afrojack responded that he adores his best friend.

He went on to add that since they are close, it makes it easier for him to work with the artist on various projects.

In other news, Dua Lipa has admitted that she rewrote all the songs that have been featured on her new album.

It is no secret that the 28-year-old hitmaker enjoys rewriting the songs that she has previously written, sometimes tinkering with them to ensure they are perfect.

In her words, she cannot recall if there has ever been a single song that she did not want to go back to and write it all over again.

According to her, rewriting becomes necessary because she feels the need to go back in deeper and see if there is any more room.

On this note, Kevin Parker from Tame Impala, who has been one of the collaborators that Dua has worked with in the past, has stated that the singer/songwriter is a meticulous editor.

He went on to say that she can be brutal when it comes to editing, saying that her latest track, Houdini, had been in the works for the last couple of months.

He revealed that there were times when he absolutely loved a verse, but an hour later, Dua would change it and ensure something better was a part of the song.

The Levitating hitmaker is likely to release her latest album in the later months of this year, even though she has not yet confirmed a release date.
