Jungkook Surprises Fans With A Concert

In recent news, the star of BTS, Jungkook, took to giving his fans a surprise by performing for them.

The performance from the solo star took place in Times Square in New York City.

The South Korean singer took the stage at TSX Entertainment, right in the heart of the intersection of the Manhattan Landmark.

He went on to celebrate many songs from his recently released debut album, titled Golden. 

As per sources, fans were only informed about the upcoming gig 30 minutes before the show began.

Nevertheless, fans flocked to see the star sing within the short timeframe and were present to show him their support.

The star from BTS took to performing a number of his hit singles, such as 3D, Standing Next To You, and Seven.

He also included many tracks from his album, like Please Don’t Change and Yes Or No. 

Halfway through his performance, Jungkook took to addressing the fans present at the show and expressed his gratitude for them showing up to support him. 

He went on to add what an honor it was for him to be able to sing at the historic landmark, admitting that the view was incredible. 

Despite the short notice, the star took to ensuring that the show was streamlined online for fans who could not be there.

As a result, the live stream gained more than 280,000 viewers through the official YouTube channel for BTS. 

In other news, Jungkook also sat down for an interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music to have a conversation in Seoul. This took place shortly after the release of Golden.

The BTS singer opened up about how he was one of the band's youngest members and used to feel uncool when he first joined.

He went on to talk about how when he first ventured out as a solo artist, the pressure of making his own music used to get to him.

According to the musician, in his early days going solo, he also struggled with collaborating with other singers and the fact that he wanted to embrace a more honest approach to songwriting. 

The star further went on to talk about his experience with creating Golden. In his words, it was difficult to bring all the tracks together as they are a part of different genres.

He further recalled how he was not used to performing in English but going solo meant perfecting that as well. But Jungkook believes that the struggle was worth it. 

When discussing the work done on his album, the musician disclosed that he had a lot of fun working with a foreign producer outside of his country.

He divulged that after finishing each song, he would need to celebrate his accomplishment. 

Later in the interview, the South Korean singer was also asked about his choice to go solo, to which he talked about missing his bandmates.

In his words, he spent a lot of time with the boys, and going solo felt intimidating. However, he pointed out that he is looking forward to joining them again in 2025.
