Dua Lipa Talks About Singledom And New Relationship

Dua Lipa has talked about how her third album is hugely personal to her since it covers her time trying to figure out singledom and then entering into a new relationship.

The 28-year-old star is currently dating Romain Gavras, a 42-year-old French director, and launched her new era lead single, which is tinged with psychedelics.

Soon after the release of Houdini, the star teased that she might be releasing a follow-up of Future Nostalgia from 2020, but only a lyrical version.

While talking about her third album, the musician said that it has a number of different emotions and feelings that she experienced during her time as being single.

In her words, being on your own is a phase of understanding yourself and realizing what you want and deserve.

She went on to add that it starts from figuring out singledom and ends when you find a new person for yourself.

As per Dua, in the early days of a relationship, a person can tell the truth about the person they are in a relationship.

But she admitted that people are often so swept up by the feelings of love and adoration that they forget to keep an eye on what is really important.

The Don’t Start Now hitmaker said that the entire album is sonically different from the lead single itself.

She added that all the other songs are significantly different, but they all have a psychedelic ring to them.

On the other hand, Houdini is rife with electronic variety but also includes a load of interesting instrumentation.

Talking about the lead single, the singer added that it feels organic, which she wanted to convey on her album.

Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, the psychedelic act, as well as a bunch of various other co-writers, were asked by Dua to collaborate on the sounds included in multiple songs of her record.

Meanwhile, Danny L, the rave and electronic music-maker, and Kevin served as producers for the album.

While discussing her lead single even more, the 28-year-old added that Houdini is representative of the most freeing and light parts of her singledom.

She went on to add that it also includes the time when she was exploring the idea of dating someone, wondering if they were good for her.

In other news, Bon Jovi has dropped a track in time for Christmas, titled Christmas Isn’t Christmas, which the rockstars say is an early present for the fans.

They took to social media to announce that they were going to be dropping a song for the upcoming festive season, which has been recorded at Ocean Way Nashville Recording Studios.

The members of the band, namely David Bryan, Tico Torres, Hugh McDonald, Jon Bon Jovi, John Shanks, Everett Bradley, and Phil Xenidis, celebrated the release by sharing a drink at a nearby pub in Nashville.

Consequently, this new album will mark the first music from the band since they released their album, titled 2020, three years ago.
