Meghan Thee Stallion Opened Up About Cardi B

Just recently, Megan Thee Stallion talked about her first interaction with Cardi B, saying that the 30-year-old had been shy in the beginning.

In an interview with Billboard, the 28-year-old disclosed several other details about the relationship she shares with her collaborator, friend, and fellow rapper.

Gushing, Megan added that Cardi was real to her and that she had initially had a different image of her in her mind.

According to the singer, Cardi was not like what she seemed online at all. In her words, her fellow rapper was pretty shy and did not say much.

But as the two musicians started to get to know each other, they started to realize that the other was more than what they were portrayed as on social media.

The Savage rapper went on to add that she has seen the real Cardi and is proud to have her as a friend in her life.

Megan further revealed that the one thing she admires most about the Bodak Yellow hitmaker is how kind she is.

According to her, the 30-year-old is one of the sweetest people she knows and is honest when it counts.

The 28-year-old added that another thing she appreciates about Cardi is how unafraid she is of speaking her mind and is real about everything.

The two musicians took to collaborating on their popular song, WAP, back in 2020. Soon after its release, the track went on to be nominated for a couple of awards, which included the MTV Video Music Award for the Song of Summer category.

Most recently, the talented pair came together to come up with a new song titled Bongos. They performed it for the first time at the MTV VMAs in September of this year.

In other news, Doja Cat has been fighting off some fierce competition from different artists, while her song Paint The Town Red has managed to retain four weeks at the Number 1 position.

As of now, there are less than 2,000 units that are preventing three other hit songs from taking her song’s spot at the top.

Kenya Grace is closest to Doja Cat with her popular song, Stranger, with 3D by Jack Harlow and BTS star Jungkook following suit close behind.

Meanwhile, Prada, by D-Block Europe, RAYE, and Casso, is not far behind the other two contenders and could take up the Number 1 spot.

On another note, Asking, a slow-burning dance hit by MK, Clementine Douglas, and Sonny Fodera, is expected to be one of the Top 10 for the first time in the current week.

Consequently, Tyla, a rising South African star, is gearing up to land a position in the Top 10 with his breakthrough song, Water. As of now, the track is standing stable at Number 12.

Following Water is City Boys by Burna Boys and DNA by Billy Gillies and Hannah Boleyn, holding steady at Number 14 and 17, respectively.

American Town by Ed Sheeran is also not far behind, on account of the star’s latest album drop, Autumn Variations.
