Celebrities Prepare For First-Ever TikTok Festival

In recent news, TikTok has announced that it is going to host its own festival for the first time ever.

As part of the exciting news, the video-sharing platform stated that it will be setting up performances from various big names in the music industry, including Niall Horan, Cardi B, Anitta, Charlie Puth, and many more.

There is no doubt about the fact that TikTok has become the go-to place for people searching for the hottest new talent in the music industry. Thus, it is now bringing them to audiences in person.

Other singers are also all set to take the stage as part of the Elevate Program revealed by TikTok.

Musicians who made the cut are Kaliii, Sam Barber, Isabel LaRosa, LU KALA, and numerous others.

Another program announced by TikTok, With In The Mix, will also be held in the coming year at the Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona.

Meanwhile, the Global Head of Music Partnerships and Programming of TikTok, Paul Hourican, said that people are excited to be a part of this event and any other organized by the platform.

In his words, this is due to the fact that TikTok has established itself as a community that mixes creativity and music like no other.

While talking about With In The Mix, he said that the platform is aiming to bring the For You feed of the app to life for fans at the location.

According to the head, TikTok wants to create a show that gives back to the music-loving global community across the globe.

Moreover, he announced that people who cannot attend the event in person will be able to livestream it through TikTok Live.

Since the announcement of the several events, a number of legendary acts have been asked to join the line-up to ensure that they all end up being a success.

On the other hand, various celebrities have also joined the app to promote their music ahead of the event.

One such example is The Rolling Stones, which signed up on the app to make its back catalog available to the users of TikTok in the form of soundtrack clips.

The frontman of the band, Sir Mick Jagger, has also taken to making a personal account on the platform.

Where the band’s page is concerned, it has added a guest playlist, which was personally curated by the members themselves.

The playlist includes a total of 44 tracks, some of which are big hits. Angie, Beast of Burden, and Start Me Up are three of the top songs on the list.

In other news, Taylor Swift has been nominated for 20 different awards for the upcoming 2023 Billboard Music Awards.

The 33-year-old already holds the accolade for taking home the highest number of awards and has now bagged 20 more nominations for the ceremony that is all set to take place on the 19th of November.

Among the awards that the Karma hitmaker has been nominated for is Top Artist. For this award, she will be competing against various talented musicians, such as Luke Combs, SZA, Drake, and Morgan Wallen.
