Adele Decides To Extend Residency In Las Vegas

In recent news, Adele has decided that she will be extending her residency in Las Vegas for the last time.

The Rolling In The Deep singer started off with the Weekends With Adele residency, which is being staged at the Colosseum, located at Caesars Palace.

The shows started in November 2022 and were supposed to be wrapped up by November 4th of this year.

However, the British star made an announcement saying that she has scheduled further shows. All these concerts will be held between the months of January and June 2024.

The singer took to social media to post a video montage of all the shows she has held so far. She went to explain that due to the residency, she had fallen in love with giving live performances, once again.

In the words of Adele, the residency changed her life and got her out of the rut that she had been stuck in.

Being on stage and singing gave the hitmaker the chance to reconnect with the lyrics of her songs and be close to her fans.

In her words, the 35-year-old said that she will never be able to forget this restorative experience.

Adele further said that being in the spotlight has taught her a lot about herself and her fans. It reminded her of how good she is at what she does and never wants to stop.

The Weekends With Adele residency will be resuming from the 19th of January and continue till the 15th of June of next year.

The tickets for the upcoming dates will be going on sale from the 26th of October.

In other news, Keanu Reeves has revealed that he was once granted the honor of taking a bass guitar lesson from Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The 59-year-old actor, who also plays bass in Dogstar, a grunge band, he asked the musician for some advice during their first meeting on a movie set.

Consequently, Flea ended up giving the actor a lesson in bass guitar with all the equipment present on the set.

The pair appeared together for the first time in a movie back in 1981, titled My Own Private Idaho, which had been directed by the well-known Gus Van Sant.

Later in the interview where Keanu talked about Flea, he also opened up regarding his journey toward becoming a bassist.

In his words, he is just a ‘wild animal with a piece of wood’. He added that when he first entered the music industry, he had not learned how to play many songs.

This was because he wanted to do his own thing, rather than learn what other people had done before him.

Keanu used this occasion to also speak directly to his younger fans, advising them to not follow anyone else’s footsteps and figure things out on their own.

The 59-year-old further disclosed that his first bass was likely in 1986 when he went to the Hollywood Guitar Center to buy a bass guitar.

Consequently, the musician ended up buying one from a parking lot sale.
