In recent news, Madonna talked about how great it is to be alive, while she celebrated turning 65.
The Queen of Pop took to Instagram to make a post about her most recent birthday and show fans how she had spent her special day in the country of Portugal.
In the caption of the Instagram post, which showed Madonna in Lisbon, she talked about how she feels great about being alive.
The legendary singer went on to add that it is a joyous feeling for her to be able to put on her dancing shoes and have a fun birthday.
The post included a montage of a number of clips, underneath which she also expressed gratitude to Lisbon and its people for making her birthday fun.
In the clips posted, Madonna can be seen having the time of her life by indulging in a number of birthday activities.
These included taking a boat ride, dancing, riding horses on the beach, and then topping all these off with a dinner with her loved ones.
In one short video posted, Lourdes, the star’s daughter, can be seen serenading her mother.
In another clip, family and friends of the now 65-year-old can be seen singing along to Your Song, a popular track by Sir Elton John.
The footage posted by Madonna also included her hit single, Vogue.
The singer also made another video in which she speaks to the camera, and tells the world that she will wreak havoc with her jewels.
She goes on to say that she will be in the background, live in it, and stay in it, all the while posing with sunglasses that have been encrusted with a few diamonds.
Currently, the singer is recovering from her hospitalization just a couple of months ago. She had been in hospice due to a bacterial infection in June.
Earlier in the week, the 65-year-old revealed that the dates for her upcoming tour for Celebration had been scheduled.
She will now be kicking off her trek on the 14th of October in London.
In other news, Miley Cyrus was reported to have been the maid of honor at Tish Cyrus’s wedding, to show her support for her mother marrying Dominic Purcell, the actor.
In footage revealed, the Flower singer appears to be moved while watching her mother exchange vows with the star of Prison Break.
The ceremony was held in an outdoor venue in Malibu, California.
At the event, Miley was wearing a one-shouldered floor-length dress in an ice blue color and carried a bouquet of baby’s breath and white roses.
Meanwhile, the bride could be seen wearing a strapless lace bridal gown that reached the floor with a flowing tulle veil.
Where the groom is concerned, the 53-year-old wore a white dress shirt and rolled up its sleeves on black trousers.
Three other bridesmaids were present at the ceremony, and all three of them wore a similar baby blue color to match the hue of Miley’s dress.
