But, Liam iterated, he had no choice. He revealed how he had been hospitalized last week due to a deadly kidney infection.
As per the 29-year-old, he has received strict orders from his doctor to get some rest and recover, before he starts performing again.
The 29-year-old went on to express his regret at not being able to perform next month. In his words, he had been over the moon to get back on stage.
While he was upset at the delay, Liam provided assurance to his fans that those who had purchased the tickets would be reimbursed.
According to the Strip That Down singer, he is grateful for the loyalty of his fans, which is why he expressed gratitude for their love and understanding in this difficult time.
The 29-year-old musician further revealed that the postponed dates will soon be rescheduled, and new ones will be announced well before time, so people can still attend.
Liam later posted a video message on Instagram, in which he revealed that he is still feeling a little unwell, as he has been in the past couple of weeks.
However, he added that he is under the care of some of the best professionals in the field, who are personally overseeing his medical treatment.
The South American trek of the star was all set to kick off in Peru from the 1st of September, before continuing onwards to Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia.
