Marilyn Manson Denies Assault Charges And Pleads Not Guilty

In recent news, Marilyn Manson has declared that he is not guilty and pleaded so in court, against assault charges. These charges were filed against him back in the year 2019 after an incident allegedly occurred at one of his concerts.

Real name Brian Warner, the rocker was accused of going up to a videographer, Susan Fountain, and apparently blowing his nose on her, as well as spitting on her. She claimed that this incident occurred in the midst of one of his concerts being held at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, located in Gilford, New Hampshire, in August of 2019.

The Los Angeles Police took Manson in due to his connection to an arrest warrant of 2019, back in July. The rocker surrendered and was scheduled to make an appearance at an arraignment hearing on Thursday, related to two counts of a misdemeanor of simple assault.

However, his lawyer filed for Manson being not guilty, and also sent in a waiver of arraignment on Wednesday, in the Laconia District Court. The hearing of the case status has been scheduled to take place on the 27th of December.

In the complaint filed by Fountain, she claims that the rocker got up close to her camera and struck both her hands with his saliva by spitting at her. She alleged that he blew his nose at her, causing his snot to catch her arms and hands.

This assault case is just another problem for Manson, as he has been having a difficult time in the last few months. Just recently, he was dropped by his management team, agency, as well as record label. They had all decided to disassociate themselves from him after several women came forward and accused him of abuse earlier in the year. This list of women also included his exes, Esme Bianco and Evan Rachel Wood. However, when questioned about the claims made by so many women, the rocker had denied it all. He had stated that anything that had happened between him and these women had been purely consensual.

In the previous week, Manson made headlines when he made an appearance at the listening party for Kanye West’s new album, Donda, in the city of Chicago. DaBaby, another fellow disgraced musician, as well as the rocker himself, have been featured on a track in the album, called Jail Pt. 2.
