James Taylor’s New Album “American Standard” is on Streaming Now


American Standard is the 20th album by American singer and songwriter James Taylor. The album was released on 28th February 2020. Produced and recorded by Dave O'Donnell and co-produced by James Taylor and John Pizzarelli.

The album American Standard received well reviews at Metacritic and received a score of 62 out of 100 to reviews from critics, which indicates favorable reviews.

According to Nielsen Music MRC Data, American Standard entered at No. 4th with 80000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the week ending of March 5th.

There are 14 tracks in the album and the songs “My Blue Heaven”, “Teach Me Tonight” and “Moon River” are trending on the internet. The violin music of the songs takes us back to the 70s, 80s, and 90s. 

American Standard debuts in the top ten on the new billboard 200 albums chart and it becomes the first Top Ten album to earn in the last six decades. The album ranks the most popular album of the week in the United States. Taylor uses his gentle music to classics like “The Nearness of You” and “My Blue Heaven”. 

He also plays the role of the piano and his own acoustic guitar. If you are a lover of Taylor's music in the 70s, be prepared to fall in love with the man’s music again. 

James Taylor was born on March 12th, 1948 in the Boston United States. He is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist, and a five-time Grammy Award Winner. He is one of the best selling music artists and has sold more than 100 million records worldwide.

The songs “Fire and Rain” and “You’ve got a Friend” had his first number 1 hit in 1971. Later on he released the album “Greatest Hit” was the first compilation album by Taylor in 1976 and it is the best selling album of his career. The album that he released from 19777 to 2007 sold over 2 million copies.
