Frank Turner Gives Teasers about His Next Album

In recent news, Frank Turner has decided to take a new and fresh turn with his song material. The 38-year-old musician’s last LP ‘No Man’s Land’ was a folk collection about great women from history released in 2019.

He confessed in front of BANG showbiz that he was not going to release details about his next album just yet because he wants to surprise people. The ‘Be More Kind’ singer believes that a lot of people will be happy about the pleasant surprise that awaits them.

Frank went on to say that this record, like all of his others, approaches music with a different tact. He does not want to repeat the kind of music he has already released and bore the audience. He revealed that he is looking at and trying different styles and approaches to music which is exciting for him.
The 38-year-old teased that his new full-length album is going to be, in a word, ‘aggressive.’ Frank explained that he previously did a pop record followed by a folk one. Hence, he wishes to stay rooted in the world of hardcore and punk and base his new album on it.

In the early 2000s, the star entered the music scene with Million Dead, a post hardcore band. However, now he has taken to using project Mongol Horde’s noise rock as his release. Frank hinted that he would also be releasing new songs and making new announcements in the near future. Currently though, his live performances and plans for rarities collections have been pushed forward. His tour dates have been put on hold amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.

The hitmaker, on the other hand, is quite excited for all the news stuff that he has in store, waiting to be released.

On the other hand, the celebrity has been working on his live streaming series, Independent Venue Love. These are a couple of ongoing weekly concerts that the singer is streaming from his flat to raise money for those specific venues impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Side by side, he has also been devoting much of his time to his new material.

Frank said that at the moment he is only focusing on writing and demoing his new material. He had originally planned to do it on tour buses or in hotel rooms whenever he would get time while on tour. However, now he has all the time in the world to do them at home and he is quite happy about it.
The ‘I Still Believe’ singer knows that he has had splitting critics whenever he ventured into a new direction but, he is only focusing on himself right now. Frank claimed that he no longer cares how people respond to his music. He says that every time he releases an album, the critics do not approve saying that the last one was better. The singer says that he will just wait to release a new record after this one and then, perhaps the critics will appreciate the soon-to-be released album.
