It was reported that the private jet hired to take the rapper, Post Malone and his crew to England, blew two tires after taking off from a New Jersey Airport. The rapper had to brace himself for an emergency landing.
The
Rockstar hitmaker along with 15 other people took off in a jet from
Teterboro Airport, which is located just outside New York. It was
just before 11 a.m. when the pilot was reported experiencing trouble.
He had to circle back for nearly four hours and had to alert air
traffic control officials of an emergency landing.
Some
sources revealed that the pilot was supposed to head towards
Massachusetts to burn off more fuel for a possibly safer crash
landing as the plane had about 3700 gallons of fuel. Later, it
appeared that the plan was diverted towards Stewart Airport, located
north of New York City.
The
23-years-old rapper’s fans were quite worried for his welfare and
many expressed their concerns on Twitter. Some of them were even
tracking his whereabouts in the air using the online flight tracker
service, Flightradar24.
This
all took place on Tuesday, 21st
August 2018. It was just a day after The MTV Video Music Awards where
Post Malone gave a performance with Aerosmith and 21 Savage. He even
won the trophy for the Song of the Year for his hit Rockstar.
He
is going to perform in England for a festival after which he will go
to Paris for the Rock en Seine event.
