Demi Lovato’s back-up dancer, who also happened to be her pal denied rumors that stated that she supplied the drugs to the singer that caused her to be hospitalized after an overdose.
The Confident
hitmaker has been recovering in rehab after she was found lying
unconscious in her home in Hollywood Hills. She was hospitalized
immediately after she fainted due to a probable drug overdose.
In a recent
twitter burst, the dancer, Dani Vitale defended herself against the
rumors declaring that she has never touched drugs in her entire life
and would never encourage anyone to take them, much less supply them
especially to someone she cares about.
The 28-year old
dancer stated that she had been out with friends, celebrating her
birthday when Demi was found unconscious. She received the news the
next morning after which the dancer claims that she felt hopeless.
Dani confessed that the rumors that she supplied Demi with the drugs
that resulted in her overdose caused her to spiral into depression,
because of which she did not leave the premises of her house for a
total of three weeks.
Dani further
added that she would often wake up in the middle of the night in a
pool of sweat or tears. She felt disturbed and thus, lost all contact
with her friends.
Soon after the
rumors began, the dancer also lost her job. In the Twitter burst,
Dani vented that rumors such as these destroy one’s reputation and
life. She added that with people blaming her had no evidence, and
such false accusations were taking away everything that she has
worked so hard to become.
Demi, however,
recently reassured her fans, family and friends that she is on her
way to a speedy recovery in rehab and will be back in no time at all.
