Mel B is positive that the Spice Girls are reuniting, even though one of them is being difficult.
The girl group got fans really excited when all five of them, Mel, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Victoria Bekham met up in February at Geri’s house along with former manager Simon Fuller.
Although both Victoria and Mel C are hesitant to return fully to the Spice Girls, all hopes were recently dashed by Victoria who claimed that there would be no new music or tour after the get together.
However, Mel B is optimistic that she’ll win Victoria over soon. She insisted upon the reunion by saying that they’re all sisters at the end of the day, and they had an amazing journey, so they are together.
The Spice Girls last performed together as a group at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics in 2012. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their hit Wannabe, Mel C, Emma and Geri formed a new group named Gem in 2016.
While their group may not have fully reunited, Mel’s family has certainly reconciled after not talking for years. She revealed that she had not talked to them for eight years and it was heartbreaking. She was in a very stressful relationship with her husband, and that relationship prevented her from even reaching out to her family. It was her father’s death which brought them back together, and even though it was painful, she was very happy to reunite with her family.
