Kasabian To Perform At BAFTA Awards


The BAFTA Awards are going to take off higher by Kasabian.
According to the announcement made by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) revealed that audience will have Kasabian performing live at the EE British Academy Film Awards ceremony this year.
Scheduled for 8th day of February, 2015, the EE British Academy Film Awards will be taking place at The Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden while Stephen Fry will be hosting this year's ceremony. The academy has decided to broadcast the wonderful evening   exclusively on BBC One in the UK ' lead by a red carpet show on BBC Three ' and in all major territories around the world.

On the other hand, the band has chosen to chase the footsteps of some of the musical icons of the era such as Tom Jones, Paloma Faith and Tinie Tempah. The opening ceremony performance will be live at the Royal Opera house of London on the 8th day of February, 2015. According to the award-winning Kasabian, they are huge fans of British cinema and opening the BAFTAs will be a great honor for them. 'We're honored to celebrate the achievements in film over the last 12 months.’ the band gushed.
Consisting of Tom Meighan (vocalist), Sergio Pizzorno (guitarist & vocalist), Ian Matthews (drums player), and Chris Edwards (bassist) who has also worked as an engineer, the English band Kasabian that was formed in Leicester in 1997, has made a remarkable existence in the world of music.

The year of 2015 began for Kasabian touching the sky with the winning of 'Best Act in the World Today' and 'Best Live Act' awards by the Q Awards. The victory makes the phenomenal time for the band allowing them to claim success as well as being on the headlines of   Glastonbury and Victoria Park show that was sold by them in Leicester.
