Reviewing Donna Summer Box Set Collection


Crimson Records has released two marvelous vinyl and CD box sets of the hit classics of the late iconic singer Donna Summer. The release hit is going to shake the market having the notion of the legendary star's own 'Driven by the Music’.

The sets combine seven different albums along with a series of tempting extras. The package brings the wonderful feisty treats on this Christmas offering an amazing cross-section of the songwriter’s musical career that lasts over 35 years. It won’t be wrong to say that this set is a tribute to Donna Summer whose real name was LaDonna Adrian Gaines.

Dona Summer was an American singer and a painter. She also wrote many songs for her albums and was truly appealed by the audiences.  Donna was prominently famous in the late of 70s that was the time of disco actually and was said to be the ‘Queen of Disco.

The set merges attractive collection of disco-pop, dance, soul, funk, rock ‘n’ roll, blues and even gospel tracks  demonstrating  what made the singer the queen of the Giorgio Moroder sound. The singer of

‘Love To Love You Baby’, and ‘I Feel Love’ was a grown-up and award winning star of incredible competence. She died from lung-cancer at the age of 63. Donna was posthumously introduced in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
