Iggy Azalea Looks Forward Winning A Grammy 2014


The great Grammy Awards is a huge opportunity for competent artists being appealed and

honored for their hard work and efforts to get a prominent place in their fields. The event is

among the most awaited awards ceremonies every year; and though the evening perhaps not

going to take place before February next year, the half-done list of its nominations is being

buzzed in the world of entertainment. And the reports confirm the existence of the famous

Australian singer Iggy Azalea among the honored nominees for the Grammy Awards this year.

The 24yrs old rapper will be battling for the trophy of ‘Record of the Year’ with her hit track

with Charli XCX. She has Sia with Chandelier, a Darkchild Remix of Sam Smith's Stay With Me,

Taylor Swift with Shake It Off and Meghan Trainor with All About That Bass on the battle to win

the trophy.

Despite facing all the tough competitors Iggy, who has acted as a team with Ariana Grande and

Jennifer Lopez, and gone on personality arguments with some performers such as Nicki Minaj

and Snoop Dogg, has a great chance of grasping the prize.

The Grammy nominations also indicate Miley Cyrus who having tongues waved backwards and

forwards throughout the year with her tricks will be among the contenders running for the

‘Best Pop Vocal Album’ category with her LP Bangerz.

In addition to that we see some other stars like Ed Sheeran with x, Katy Perry with ‘Prism’,

Ariana Grande with ‘My Everything’, Coldplay with ‘Ghost Stories’ and Sam Smith with ‘In the

Lonely Hour’ are the worthy for the same category.

The American country music artist  Miranda Lambert with ‘Platinum’ seems to be strongest

nominee for the ‘Best Country Album’. The star has the battle of the trophy with Brandy Clark

with ‘12 Stories’, Dierks Bentley with ‘Riser’, Eric Church with ‘The Outsiders’ and Lee Ann

Womack with ‘The Way I'm Livin'.

The Best Urban Contemporary Album category has Chris Brown with X, Pharrell Williams with G

I R L, Mali Music with Mali Is’, Jhene Aiko with ‘Sail Out’ and Beyonce Knowles. The chances of

getting the honor appear to be with the Queen off course with her self-titled record. Let’s see!

John Legend, Sia, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift or Pharrell Williams are up for the honor with the

‘Best Pop Solo Performance’ while the competition for the ‘Album of the Year’ will be

broadcasted on a very Grammy Christmas that is said to be an extraordinary evening of the

celebration that is going to be on air tonight in the United States. Just don’t forget to watch
