Priyanka Chopra Feels Honored To Be Part Of UNICEF Sing-Along Video


Luck, luck, and luck! Besides coming up as a dedicated and hard worker, the ex-Miss World Priyanka Chopra is a woman of the luck. The lady is one of the highest paid celebrities in the Indian film industry.The devotees, who love this famous Indian actress and international singer, are proud to see her joining the union of global stars being gathered for the Imagine Project. These celebrities are coming together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and mark it as an unforgettable happening of their life.

Having the aim of creating a historical moment in the world of music as well as in the noble world, the list of these celebrities includes Priyanka Chopra, artist Yoko Ono, music producer and DJ David Guetta, UNICEF Ambassadors Katy Perry, Angelique Kidjo, and Daniela Mercury. Not only this, the favorite of music lovers,  Nicole Scherzinger and Idris Elba are going to deliver their versions of John Lennon's Imagine. They believe that together they will bring a moment that is meant to highlight the various challenges the children are facing in the world.

Depicting the values and rights of the children, Pyianka Chopra is the only Indian who has joined the activity. She's almost done with the recording of her version in the video.

Expressing the experience,  32yrs old actress said that she's been with UNICEF as a goodwill ambassador for last eight years which has not only shown the capability of making a difference to the lives of people around but also seems to be creating ways to connect a larger number of audience.

"I am really honored to be a part of this great cause.” she smiled.

On the question about the song, she said that it’s important in today's craziness of the world.  Priyanka also revealed her likeness for John Lennon saying that "he is my favorite and nothing can be more special for me to sing his song."

According to the singer, their initiative is aimed to let people record their individual versions of the song having their darling stars with them.

"It actually leads signing a global sing-along.", she added.

These recordings are going to be in a multi-lingual 'world' version, and are scheduled to release on New Year's Eve while an exclusive version of the song featuring a solo performance by the Indian actress is releasing in the coming weeks.
