In recent news, Hayley Williams and Dolly Parton have applauded Miley Cyrus for how far she has come.
They went on to talk about how they appreciate her modern-day rock chick personality in a conversation feature hosted by Consequence.
This conversation took place to discuss the upcoming album that Dolly will soon be dropping, titled Rockstar.
Consequently, Hayley complimented the star, saying that her and Miley’s voices go well together.
According to the Paramore front-woman, she was enthralled by the collaboration of the two musicians on the new version of Miley’s Wrecking Ball, which will be a part of Dolly’s album.
During the conversation, Hayley added how the song is a powerhouse on its own and feels like something that the music legend could have written herself.
Miley’s godmother went on to respond by expressing how proud she is of the Flowers hitmaker’s talent and wishes that she had written that song.
The 34-year-old agreed with Dolly, saying that Miley is talented but underestimated throughout the industry, mainly because she came from Disney.
However, Hayley went on to add that the 30-year-old has proven herself on various occasions, especially with her singing, writing, acting, and comedic skills.
The Jolene hitmaker started to gush, saying that Miley has a voice that is unmatched in the field and that she has the soul and grit needed to be a successful popstar.
The 77-year-old and her goddaughter have gotten together on various occasions, which includes the Disney Channel TV series titled Hannah Montana.
Dolly took to making several star appearances on the show as the on-screen godmother to the teenager.
Consequently, her upcoming album comprises 30 new covers and songs and is going to feature no less than 40 guest artists.
Some of these talents include Paul McCartney, Sting, Stevie Nicks, Elton John, and a number of others.
In other news, Jennifer Hudson has taken to address circulating rumors about her relationship with Common.
In a recent appearance, the Dreamgirls star was asked about her current relationship status and whether the rumors online are true.
While the Oscar-winning actress did not have much to say about her love life, she did admit that she has been happier these days.
The 42-year-old further added that her current relationship status is not just an entanglement.
The rumors about Common and Jennifer are nothing new. She was first linked to the Love Of My Life rapper back in August of 2022.
In November of this year, the pair were seen holding hands in New York City as they reportedly attended a jazz performance to honor Mikel Mwalimu-Banks, the famous vocalist.
Earlier in the year, the If This Isn’t Love singer talked about the romance rumors, saying that while they may not all be true, there is a man in her life.
According to sources, the 42 and 51-year-old may or may not have a personal relationship, but they have professionally collaborated before.
The two got together to work on an upcoming film titled Breathe, which is being directed by Stefon Bristol.
