Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia, the 3rd album by “Dandy Warhols'', the American rock band, came out in August 2000, through an American record label group, Capitol.
The song “Bohemia Like You” was featured in a famous Vodafone ad as well as on the TV show “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. It is undoubtedly their breakthrough album. The recording of the album started in December 1998 and completed during March 1999. The first single of the album “Get Off” was launched in May 2000, which reached number 5 in UK and at182 in the US Billboard 200. The album had sold over 200,000 copies in the UK by 2003.

The tracks of the album are filled with a dynamic acoustic guitar. It seems like Dandy Warhols tried their best to give us their heart along with a piece of their spirit. The strong songwriting makes it distinctive and successful. The album has it all hypnotizing instrumentals, clever rock and roll as well as hints of punk rock all delivered with the Dandy Warhols’ attitude. This is the best album for every music lover.  The 2 CD’s release opens on the mesmerizing guitar of “Godless”; the next is “Mohammed”. The track of the album brings their listener on a journey through the world of rock and roll with the tracks like “Bohemian Like You” and “Horse Pill”. The album has something for everyone.
The album was well received by the critics. It holds a score of 80 out of 100 on Metacritic, which indicates generally favorable reviews. A digital and print media company Phoenix New Times wrote that the Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia is absolutely amazing in its vision and maturity, coming from a band, which is so purposefully aimless and young.
