Things don’t seem to be going so well
for Miley Cyrus. Her storage unit became a target of thieves who
managed to seal approximately $10,000 worth of guitars. Currently,
the 26 year old star was already dealing with the loss of her Malibu
home that occurred due to the devastating wildfires in the area in
the previous month. While she was still reeling from that trauma, she
has been dealt another blow after her storage unit, which was located
in the San Fernando Valley, was broken to. Sources reveal that the
actual theft had occurred backed in December, but hadn’t been
detected.
This
was because Miley believed that someone in her family had simply
borrowed her guitars so she had chosen to ignore it. It was not until
Tuesday, 4th
December, 2018 that the star realized her unit had been broken into.
It was revealed by law enforcement sources that it was unclear how
the thieves had managed to get into the unit. They did state that
only the guitars were missing and the rest of the unit had been left
intact. This robbery is the latest traumatic incident to have
occurred in Miley’s life recently. The Woolsey Fire had destroyed
her Malibu home, one she shared with her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth.
The
California wildfires had been devastating and had caused a lot of
damages to property just last month including Miley and Liam’s
palatial home. Nonetheless, even though the Wrecking Ball star has
suffered a lot of heartbreak due to the loss of her property, it
seems that the singer is doing her utmost to see the positive side of
things. On Tuesday, December 4th,
she spoke to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show and said that she had
come to terms with her loss and was now in a ‘good healing place’.
She
credited her positive attitude to her father and country singer,
Billy Ray Cyrus. She said that he had taught her that adjustments
were a part of life and while she may not have understood it back
then, she was gradually learning, especially after losing her home.
Miley also added that she essentially had two choices for dealing
with the situation; she could either let it stress her out or she
could allow the event to be a positive change in her life. It was
obvious that she had gone for the latter and had even helped others
who had also suffered from losses during the fire.
Miley further added that there was no
point in suffering from stress because what had occurred had been due
to a natural disaster and there was nothing that could be done about
it. The singer asserted that it had been a growing experience for her
because it had allowed her to move away from the celebrity figure and
be a neighbor and member of the community instead. Liam has also been
very supportive as he posted a picture of all that was left of the
house on social media; four large letters spelling LOVE.
