Pink shared her first selfie with her seven-year-old daughter, Willow three days after she was hospitalized while on a tour in Australia.
The
Just Give Me a Reason hitmaker postponed her first of Beautiful
Trauma World Tour concert after she was struggling with upper
respiratory tract infection.
However,
her health deteriorated on Sunday night and she had to be admitted to
the hospital because of dehydration. She was soon treated and
discharged but just a day later, she was infected with a gastric
virus and had to come back to the hospital.
On
Friday, the 38-year-old singer posted a picture showing her and
Willow, alongside heart emojis.
Pink
is all set to perform on the stage in Sydney on Saturday after her
long and exhausting spell of illness.
In
a heartfelt post on Instagram, the singer apologized to her fans
after canceling the gigs. She first thanked them all for being kind
and for their wishes for her speedy recovery. She explained that on
Monday, the show was about to happen and everyone was planning on
going ahead with it but she had to be rushed to the hospital due to
excruciating pain. This was the reason for the late cancellation.
She
mentioned about following doctor’s orders of liquids and rest and
went on to explain how physically demanding her shows are. She said
that in order to deliver a good performance, she will spend the
remaining time before her show drinking green tea and spending time
with her kids.
